**Casa Grande High School Schedule Change Guidelines Announced**

Casa Grande Union High School District has released specific guidelines for requesting second-semester schedule changes. Students who wish to alter their schedules must fill out a designated form and use their school email when submitting the request. Only completed forms will be considered.

Counselors review each request individually, but students are reminded that submitting a form does not guarantee approval. If approved, changes will appear in PowerSchool within two school days. No changes will be processed after the 10th day of the semester.

Requests will only be considered for specific valid reasons:

- Missing a core academic class

- Having an empty period on the schedule

- Repeating a previously passed class

- Needing a class for graduation requirements

- Being enrolled in a class of the wrong level (e.g., Honors, AP)

- Lacking the prerequisite for the class

Schedule change requests for reasons such as teacher preference, lunch preference, or wanting a class with a friend will not be approved. Students are encouraged to review the criteria carefully before submitting their requests.
