Maricopa, Arizona – A train is currently blocking Porter Road at the intersection with Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, causing a delay. Maricopa Police Department reported that the roadway has now reopened, but safety checks are still in progress with the train operators to move the train. Officers are on the scene assisting with traffic. Drivers are advised to use Sonoran Desert Parkway to John Wayne Parkway (SR347) to avoid delays.
