Maricopa Police Department confirmed that 77-year-old Richard Bird was located near Bartlett Lake by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department earlier today. Bird, who is known to have dementia and medical conditions requiring regular medication, was involved in a rollover crash and was taken to a hospital with injuries. Prior to being found, Bird’s phone was tracked to Casa Grande before its battery ran out or it was turned off, and his vehicle was later seen in Gilbert, Arizona, although he has no known contacts in that city. Bird is described as 5-foot-7, weighing 164 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. His vehicle has an Arizona Cardinals license plate, number FB27K1.
