Casa Grande is set to host a Public Safety Day on April 5, 2025 at the Paul Mason Sports Complex, located at 2525 N Pinal Ave. The event will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with youth participants for the Chalk on the Walk design contest arriving between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Teams of up to eight students (grades K-8) will create public safety-themed chalk art on a 12 ft x 6 ft section of sidewalk provided by the organizers. Chalk will be provided, and a panel of judges will determine first, second, and third place winners. Registration for the contest is available online, with spots limited to 15 teams.

The day will also include appearances by first responders from across Pinal County. Officers, firefighters, EMTs, pilots, and others will display their public safety equipment and vehicles. Attendees will have the opportunity to view K9 and drone demonstrations, and enjoy a “Glow for Safety” feature with neon accessories. Additional activities include raffles, bounce houses, games, and food trucks available on site. Photography of the event is encouraged.
