Casa Grande Encourages Residents to Keep City Clean
Staff Report / CGlocal.org
The City of Casa Grande is promoting easy ways to keep the town clean and beautiful. They advise residents to avoid putting garbage on the ground around containers and ensure that all trash is inside the container for pick up. Bagging and tying garbage, as well as keeping the lid closed, helps prevent odors and trash from flying away. Residents are reminded not to overfill containers with brush or other materials as the lid must be closed for pickup.
For large items that do not fit in the trash container, residents are encouraged to save them for uncontained trash day. Additionally, tips for trash container pick-up include placing the container close to the curb with the handle facing the house, keeping the lid closed to reduce odors, providing sufficient clearance for the truck to access the container, and bagging and tying garbage to reduce unsanitary conditions.
Residents can find their zone and pick up day at the City of Casa Grande's website. For more information or assistance, residents can contact the Public Works Department at (520) 421-8625 or visit www.casagrandeaz.gov/public-works.
