Vista Grande High School will host a Suicide Awareness Walk on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the VGHS Track/Football Field. This event aims to honor those affected by suicide and promote mental health awareness.

Participants are encouraged to wear yellow, teal, and purple to show their support for suicide prevention. Attendees can bring signs with messages of hope and support. The walk is open to all students, families, and staff, providing an opportunity to share stories and create connections within the community.

The event also includes a campaign to collect cash donations, with funds directed to benefit suicide awareness programs and support resources for those in need.

The school encourages everyone to join the walk and help raise awareness about mental health issues.
