**Frank Pratt Park Dedication Ceremony Celebrates Community and Legacy**

Casa Grande, AZ – The City of Casa Grande recently hosted a special event to celebrate the dedication of Frank Pratt Park, located at 250 E. Viola St. The ceremony was attended by the Pratt Family and members of the Casa Grande community, marking a significant milestone for the city.

The celebration highlighted the unveiling of the park's newly renovated disc golf course, a key feature of the park that is expected to be a popular attraction for residents and visitors alike. The event also served as an opportunity to honor the life and legacy of Frank Pratt, after whom the park is named.

During the ceremony, the Casa Grande Community Services Department shared updates on exciting projects currently underway to further enhance local recreational opportunities and improve the community's public spaces.

Residents are encouraged to explore the renovated park and try out the disc golf course. Disc golf sets are conveniently available for checkout at the City of Casa Grande Public Library with a library card, making it easy for everyone to enjoy this engaging outdoor activity.

Frank Pratt Park continues to reflect the city’s dedication to fostering exceptional experiences for its residents. It is now open for the community to enjoy at its location on Viola Street in Casa Grande.

Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway Closed, Reopened After Crash

Maricopa, Ariz. — The Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway was closed in both directions between Hartman Road and White and Parker Road after a serious collision, then reopened at 1:43 p.m. as emergency responders remained on scene and drivers were urged to slow down and give emergency vehicles space, with motorists advised to use Honeycutt Road to reach Hartman and rejoin the highway.
