Maricopa Chamber to Host CPR, Safety Workshop March 25

MARICOPA, Ariz. — The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce will host an interactive workshop on March 25 featuring professionals who will share practical insights on CPR and emergency readiness, workers’ compensation, and building a strong workplace safety culture.

Attendees will learn from Bill Robertson, retired fire chief; Chris Cahall, with American Family Insurance; and Kelly Anderson, a workplace safety professional.

Whether you manage a small team or a growing company, the session will provide tools to help keep your workplace safe and prepared, organizers said.

Shooting on SR 88 near Apache Junction under investigation

Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway Closed, Reopened After Crash

Maricopa, Ariz. — The Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway was closed in both directions between Hartman Road and White and Parker Road after a serious collision, then reopened at 1:43 p.m. as emergency responders remained on scene and drivers were urged to slow down and give emergency vehicles space, with motorists advised to use Honeycutt Road to reach Hartman and rejoin the highway.
