**Casa Grande Police Department Honors Outstanding Staff at 2025 Annual Service Awards**
The Casa Grande Police Department celebrated exceptional service by its employees during the 2025 Annual Service Awards ceremony this past weekend. The awards honored remarkable achievements and contributions made by the department's staff throughout 2024.
Here are the recipients of this year's awards:
- **Michael Bejarano**: Civilian of the Year
- **Wendy Lloyd**: Tate Lynch Spirit of Service Award
- **Brian Ramirez**: Special Contribution to the Future of our Agency
- **Jeffery McKean**: Supervisor of the Year
- **Brandon Flowers**: Officer of the Year
- **Austin Smets, Jacob Bonsall, Cody Naranjo, and Joshua Samuel**: Life Saving Award
- **Joshua Samuel**: Medal of Valor (also a Life Saving Award recipient)
- **Joe Angel Leos**: Chief's Award
The ceremony also featured Jason Schechterle as the guest speaker. Schechterle, known for his inspirational message on resilience and overcoming adversity, delivered a powerful address that left a lasting impression on attendees. As an advocate for law enforcement, his presence further strengthened the event’s focus on community and dedication to service.
