Palo Verde Siren Test Scheduled for November 20th

The Palo Verde Generating Station will hold its annual siren test on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024. The test will involve the sirens sounding twice, at 12:00 p.m. and again at 12:30 p.m. This is a routine procedure intended to ensure the siren system is functioning properly.
Residents are advised that no action is required during this test. Notifications have been sent to individuals living within a 10-mile radius of the facility as part of Palo Verde's emergency preparedness efforts. The public is thanked for their understanding during this time.
