Today, the Casa Grande Union High School District participated in the City of Casa Grande’s Flower Garden event. The CG Union Cougar Spiritline, a talented trumpet quartet featuring Aiden Osborn, Brayden Moore, Jetcel Rodriguez, and Kyle Strumfa, along with alto sax soloist Alex Snaith, provided music for the occasion. Snaith is scheduled to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City early next year.

City leaders, including Mayor Craig McFarland and Chief of Police McCrory, were present at the event. Superintendent Mr. Jeff Lavender highlighted an important message during the gathering: “If you see or hear about abuse or violence, you need to report it.”

In addition to the musical performances, Casa Grande elementary and high school students participated by planting flowers in the garden. This garden serves as a living symbol of hope and healing, creating a peaceful space for reflection. The community came together to support awareness and change during the event.
