The City of Sarasota's Parks and Recreation Department has announced several fall events taking place at various locations, including Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex.
#### Pumpkin Splash
On Saturday, October 26, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, residents can participate in the Pumpkin Splash event at the Arlington Park Pool located at 2650 Waldemere Street. The event will feature a floating pumpkin patch where participants can swim and choose their favorite pumpkin. The cost is $10 per person, and each participant will go home with a pumpkin. Registration is required due to limited space, and interested individuals can call (941) 263-6732 to sign up.
#### Bark! O' Ween
On Thursday, October 24, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the Paw Park at Arlington Park will host Bark! O' Ween. This event encourages pet owners to dress up their dogs for a judged costume parade with dog-friendly prizes. This event is free and does not require registration.
#### Trick or Triples Tennis Tournament
A Halloween-themed tennis tournament, Trick or Triples, is set for Friday, October 25, from 12 PM to 5 PM at the Payne Park Tennis Center (2050 Adams Lane). Teams can participate for $30, and registration can be completed by calling (941) 263-6641.
#### Trunk or Treat
The Robert L. Taylor Community Complex (1845 John Rivers St) will host Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 30, from 5 PM to 7 PM. This event is a family-friendly gathering featuring candy, games, and costume contests. Participation is free, and registration is not required.
Please note that this year's Haunted Trail Carnival at Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex has been canceled due to safety concerns from Hurricane Milton, but the other scheduled events will proceed as planned.
