New Distribution and Comfort Points Open in Sarasota

An additional Point of Distribution (POD) and comfort point has been established at Bayside Community Church, located at 8200 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota.

Comfort points are available at the following locations:

- Streets of Paradise: Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 734 Central Ave, Sarasota

- Bayside Community Church Lakewood Ranch Campus: Open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. through October 18

- Bayside Community Church Bee Ridge Campus: Open daily from noon to 7 p.m. through October 18

The following Points of Distribution (PODs) are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

- Venice Community Center: 326 Nokomis Ave, Venice

- San Pedro Catholic Church: 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port

- Englewood Sports Complex: 1300 S. River Rd, Englewood

- Glebe Park: 1000 Glebe Ln, Sarasota

- Bayside Community Church: 8200 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota

Points of Distribution serve as locations for residents to pick up essential supplies such as food, water, and cleaning materials. Comfort points provide a place for individuals to rest, charge their phones, access air conditioning, and receive meals and support services during recovery.
